IT Support Specialist

Medbill seeks a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide second-level technical support for its technology and MSP client organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and technical support, with experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and network concepts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line helpdesk support and handle support escalations
- Assist with remote computer deployments and perform desktop troubleshooting
- Install and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPN
- Perform IT project planning and consulting for Medbill and its clients
- Interface with vendors for purchases and support incidents
- Manage and support Azure resources
- Perform IT Security tasks, including SOC responses to SIEM and EDR tools
- Perform security hardening of servers and workstations
- Assist with IT-related compliance for HIPAA standards
- Develop SOPs to streamline support processes
- Produce documentation for processes and solutions
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Customer service experience is a must
- Well-organized and good time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service
- Able to work well in a team and provide knowledge transfer to other team members
Technical Requirements:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
- Microsoft Windows / Office 365
- Windows Server 2012+
- Network Concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls, VPN)
- Security Operations
- Disaster recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Help desk experience: 3 years
- System administration experience: 3 years
- Active Directory experience: 3 years
- Networking experience: 3 years
Pay: $1,300,000.00 - $1,400,000.00 per month
