Company Overview: At Splunk, we are a leading software company that empowers organizations to turn data into doing. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Executive to join our team and focus on selling technology software products into Higher Education institutions.

Job Description: As a Regional Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities in the Higher Education market. You will lead contributors to territory quota and develop strategies to position and present our solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quota
  • Build strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience
  • Prior sales experience in the Higher Education area is required
  • 3+ years of direct enterprise software executive sales experience
  • Technical acumen with ability to relate to business value
  • Consistent track record of excellent sales performance
  • Comfortable with both enterprise and transactional sales models
  • Ability to forecast and handle sales expenses
  • High intellect and capacity to multi-task

OTE Pay Ranges: For sales roles, OTE pay ranges are expressed as On Target Earnings, which include base salary and incentives. The ranges vary based on location.

Salary Range: $244,000 - $352,000 per year
