Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Support Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Case Manager, you will be responsible for conducting outreach to English-speaking patients, gathering and updating information on treatment status, doctor appointments, changes in medical care, work status, and relevant documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and gather accurate information from patients, healthcare providers, and relevant parties
  • Maintain detailed and current case notes, ensuring proper documentation of all interactions and activities
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance processes, create estimates, and facilitate payment transactions
  • Retrieve medical records and bills from healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or legal fields is advantageous
  • Exceptional follow-up skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively, handling tasks promptly and tactfully when interacting with colleagues and the public
  • Strong organizational skills, both in terms of task management and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Capability to work independently and responsibly, keeping case notes up-to-date

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $98,400 per annum, based on a monthly salary of $8,200.
