Our Current Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Institutions Knowledge Manager to join our team. This role will be based in [Location] and will report directly to [Manager's Name]. The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job

The primary focus of this role will be on knowledge capture and curation within the Financial Institutions Practice Area (PA). As a key member of our Knowledge & Collaboration Solutions (KCS) team, you will work closely with senior team members, case teams, and other groups within the firm to help create, retrieve, organize, and analyze knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for clients.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment that is customer-focused and participate in basic coaching and mentoring of more junior team members. You will be a good problem solver and work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Capturing content from high-impact cases in BCG's FI PA under supervision of the Content Manager (Team Lead) and Knowledge Team (KT)
  • Writing and codifying quality content from BCG case work in the Financial Institutions PA
  • Working with the Content Manager to timely identify PA knowledge gaps on BCG's intranet and define strategy to fill it with targeted case curation
  • Achieving PA's content quality with the Content Manager to make sure knowledge IP is relevant to the PA and searchable on the intranet
  • Working in a well-organized, self-starting fashion with excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Adapting per stakeholder requirements with excellent process and planning skills - strong follow through and accountability essential
  • Independent and autonomous interactions and communication with Senior Stakeholders, thereby delivering high-quality output
  • Leading projects/initiatives, fostering collaboration and innovation in the job in order to improve processes

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required - preferably in business, or related research/analysis-intense field
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience or equivalent preferably in Financial Institutions related topics
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent business writing skills
  • Knowledge of business documents such as proposals, credentials, case studies etc. is desirable
  • Knowledge of content analytics and reporting will be an advantage
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
