Market Development Manager Latam
A challenging role has emerged at ABB for a seasoned professional seeking to drive business growth in the LATAM region.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
The successful candidate will contribute to local Business Unit/Product Group strategy definition and execution by analyzing new markets, segments, and product solutions. This involves developing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the Business Unit/Product Group strategy. Market intelligence analysis will be provided to support identification and development of new markets, segments, or solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness in implementing the commercial strategy. Additionally, you will coordinate product marketing launch development plans and execute them efficiently with regional sales teams.
This opportunity requires strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities. A Bachelor's Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering is essential, along with five years of commercial experience in Key Account Management and/or Business Development roles for global accounts.
We are looking for an individual who possesses technical know-how, particularly in Power Protection, and has commercial experience dealing with complex decision-making units within large global customer organizations. Professional English-speaking skill is mandatory, and willingness to travel regionally is required.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to local Business Unit/Product Group strategy definition and execution through market analysis.
- Develop business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the Business Unit/Product Group strategy.
- Provide market intelligence analysis in support of identification and development of new markets, segments, or solutions.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering.
- Five years of commercial experience in Key Account Management and/or Business Development roles for global accounts.
- Technical know-how in Power Protection.
- Commercial experience dealing with complex decision-making units within large global customer organizations.
- Professional English-speaking skill.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
