The People Team at SentinelOne

The People Team is dedicated to understanding the needs of our people and providing the necessary support. We are seeking a skilled Global HR Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to smooth and efficient business operations. This role will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us plan and administer various aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute employee-related policies, practices, and procedures, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Collaborate with the People team organization to drive continuous improvement and support key projects and initiatives, including metrics, queries, and standard reports.
  • Provide employee relations guidance to managers and respond to employee concerns.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and procedures as required.
  • Support administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including data entry into Workday and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Offer an effective HR advisory service to employees regarding absence, conduct, capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and other employee-relations issues.
  • In partnership with People Business partners, guide employee engagement, experience, and retention strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook and organizational chart.
  • Play a vital role in integrating cultural values into day-to-day business activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of work experience as a People Generalist or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Resourceful problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems (Workday preferred), Google Suite, and comfort learning new technical systems as needed.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities with high detail and accuracy.
  • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset.
  • Knowledge of federal laws and regulations.
