Job Description

As a Technical Support Professional at IBM, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support to clients.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Support Expert. This role involves collaborating with clients to resolve complex software implementation issues through remote troubleshooting and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review diagnostic information to identify problem causes and interpret traces and dumps.
  • Work with Development Engineers for knowledge transfer and code improvement.
  • Partner with other support teams for seamless problem resolution.
  • Maintain technical certifications and provide technical support within established guidelines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and provide weekend cover on a rota for 24x7 support coverage.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computing or Computer Science.
  • 2 years experience in Operating Systems (Windows/Linux/UNIX) administration and troubleshooting.
  • 2 years experience in Problem-solving technical software issues.
  • 1 year experience in Computer Networks and Communications.
  • 1 year experience in OpenShift Container Platform/Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Networks & Communications or related fields.
  • 2 years experience with Application Performance Management concepts and products.
  • 2 years experience with OpenShift Container Platform/Kubernetes/Docker.
