Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing long-term sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual business plans in collaboration with the Sales Director.
  • Assign quarterly sales goals by territory and communicate job responsibilities to staff via MBOs.
  • Develop quarterly plans with outside sales for territory development and present quarterly business plans at team level.
  • Manage 100% attainment of Sales, GP$, GP% and corporate special goals.
  • Maintain excellent customer and vendor relationships.
  • Interface with departmental Director to ensure cross-corporate teamwork.
  • Oversee strategic projects for division growth and provide sales with the tools needed to succeed.
  • Develop motivational strategies and TD Monthly/Quarterly sales promotions.
  • Oversee Employee Development activities, including quarterly one-on-one feedback meetings and reward and recognition programs.
  • Set up meetings with support departments and hold sales and staff meetings to improve communication.
  • Respond to escalated customer issues and maintain strategic vendor relationships.

  • Able to use relevant computer system applications at an intermediate level.
Education and Experience

A 4-year college degree from an accredited university plus the established minimum requirements for the position. Additional education and previous experience recommendations include working knowledge of systems/applications, creativity in problem solving, advanced level of judgment and decision making, and 5-7 years relevant sales management experience.
