Global Business Development Strategist for LATAM Markets

About the Role
ABB is seeking a seasoned business development strategist to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion into new markets and segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer needs and identify opportunities for growth in newly defined areas
- Develop and implement business strategies to penetrate new markets and segments
- Provide market intelligence and analysis to support identification and development of new opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to drive growth and expansion
- Coordinate product marketing launch plans and ensure efficient execution
Your Background
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong track record in business development and commercial strategy. You should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical or related Engineering
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in Key Account Management and Business Development roles
- Proven technical knowledge and commercial experience in Power Protection
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Professional English-speaking skill and willingness to travel regionally
