Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Front Desk Team Lead to join our team at Marriott Worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and leading a team of front desk staff.

About the Role

The Operations Front Desk Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that all guest interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner. This includes responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about hotel services and amenities.

You will also be responsible for managing the front desk operations, including overseeing the check-in and check-out process, handling guest requests, and maintaining accurate records.

In addition, you will lead a team of front desk staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about hotel services and amenities
  • Manage front desk operations, including overseeing the check-in and check-out process, handling guest requests, and maintaining accurate records
  • Lead a team of front desk staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve front desk efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Marriott's high standards of quality and service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a front desk or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
