Job Overview:

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring a seamless guest experience and exceeding financial goals. This role involves managing staff, implementing policies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Develop and implement policies to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy
  • Train staff on credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest complaints and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with management to achieve departmental and property-wide goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field; 2 years experience in front desk or guest services
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and revenue management principles
