WNS Global Services is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in this exciting role as a Scheduling Coordinator.

About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals who excel in customer-facing roles and possess strong communication skills. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for pre-registering and scheduling patient appointments for assigned services with appropriate providers in an attentive and courteous manner.

You will also be responsible for documenting patient requests in the Client Tool to route to appropriate clinic resources when needed, transferring calls to clinic areas when necessary, and directing calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Centralized Scheduling.

In addition, you will partner with callers/patients to facilitate empathetic and compassionate solutions, assisting them in navigating our complex system. This includes verifying patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment and ensuring information is correct in the patient's Boomerang file.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-register patients for appointments and schedule services with appropriate providers
  • Document patient requests in the Client Tool
  • Transfer calls to clinic areas when necessary
  • Direct calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Centralized Scheduling
  • Partner with callers/patients to facilitate empathetic and compassionate solutions
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information in the Boomerang file
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience in a call center or in the dental field is advantageous but not required
  • Bilingual Spanish and English language skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, customer service, and salesmanship skills
  • Detailed-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
