**Job Overview**
Citi is a global financial institution that seeks to hire a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to various teams within the organization.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience with Unix or Linux.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience with any database (MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Mango DB or Neo4j).
- Intermediate-advanced English language skills.
**Optional Skills**
- 6 months of working experience or training knowledge in one of the following new technologies: HBase, HDFS, Kafka, Neo4J, Spark, Storm, and GemFire.
- Knowledge of any one of the following DevOps tools: Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Git, Puppet, and Kubernetes.
**Job Requirements**
- Member of a Production Support group in a high availability/mission-critical environment.
- Experience in providing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels, across a medium to large-scale enterprise.
- Experience in working with various interfacing teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Experience in analyzing and correcting data.
- Experience in incident and problem management, including incident tracking and reporting, problem tracking and reporting until resolution, to ensure reduction of production incidents.
- Experience in dealing with vendor application teams, including coordinating with vendor support teams on vendor application issues and version upgrades.

- Ability to work in an offshore/on-site support model.
