About the Role

Citi is a leading global bank dedicated to serving the financial needs of individuals, businesses, and institutions. As an HR Business Partner Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of day-to-day HR services to client groups within Citi.

The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and training & development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify opportunities to serve employees beyond initial requests to ensure all possible current and future needs are met.
  • To use judgment and initiative to address and/or escalate requests in a timely manner.
  • To educate employees on how to efficiently utilize self-service tools through direct access channels.
  • To assist in process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • To monitor and manage centralized mailboxes.
  • To participate in projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HR business processes, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Experience in identifying process improvements and supporting associated implementation efforts.
  • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail required.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
