Key Responsibilities

As a Sourcing Manager within the Knowledge Services team, you will take charge of executing intricate and strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories and sub-categories. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies for medium to high complexity projects, translating business needs into precise statements of work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.
  • Collaborating with demanding stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Formulating category and project strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Overseeing the workflow and deliverables of the support team.
  • Serving as a senior resource for mentoring junior team members.
  • Managing and enhancing functional sourcing support activities while ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Engaging with internal and external partners to ensure decisions reflect the broader organizational context for optimal execution.
  • Allocating projects effectively, supporting team members during kickoff meetings, and sharing best practices.
  • Monitoring performance satisfaction to ensure adherence to service level agreements and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with strong project management capabilities and proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding and experience in one or more procurement categories.
  • Strong financial and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Proven experience in business partnering and supplier engagement.
  • Expertise in developing and facilitating negotiation strategies.
  • Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation processes.
  • Experience in managing the delivery of junior team members, including leads and analysts.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
