Your Role
You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Borderless team in HR and onboarding matters. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the Borderless Studio Director, Coordinator, and clients.
This role involves strategic thinking, teamwork, and operational expertise. Your duties will include:
- Tracking borderless needs and channeling them through Talent Acquisition
- Monitoring performance KPIs and channeling them through Talent Development
- Owning the Borderless Lab induction and onboarding process
- Working with the Borderless Coordinator for staffing purposes
- Advising local leadership on people matters related to performance management and employee relations
- Advocating for team members, providing confidential advice, and suggesting best practices for enhanced employee experience and industry leadership
- Facilitating effective staffing among staff by leading meetings, creating reports, and proactively circulating available staff
- Maintaining HRIS data, performing audits, and creating reports
- Supporting the full employee life cycle from onboarding, leave, exit, and retirement
- Assisting in developing performance management tools, formalizing succession planning, and proactively developing staff and leadership
- Creating and rolling out talent development and training programs and processes
- Partnering with HR colleagues to create and innovate HR practices
Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience
- A working knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations
- Experience working in a Professional Services environment
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel
- Experience with Workday preferred
- The ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- The ability to work independently, navigate, and maintain productivity in a matrix environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to persuade and influence leadership on people matters
- Strong customer service orientation and a team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
