About the Team
The Field Pricing Strategy team is passionate about driving adoption of new and existing pricing and contracting approaches through Workday. We support our team of global account executives with a "tier 2" level of deal specific support, guide our Sales Operations deal teams on new business process and strategy and influence the shape of new offerings as they come to market.

About the Role
The Field Pricing Manager will play a key role on Workday's Pricing team, focusing on the field-facing activities of SaaS pricing; including deal specific support, global commercial strategy, enablement activities, instructional content creation, new product support and performance analytics. You’ll be challenged to execute on both tactical and strategic initiatives; such as assisting in tier-2 deal support one minute and then introducing negotiation strategy to our global sales team the next. Cross functional partnership is key as you’ll partner with stakeholders from across the organization to accomplish critical objectives.

El Gerente de precios en campo desempeñará un papel clave en el equipo de fijación de precios de Workday, centrándose en las actividades de campo para la fijación de precios de SaaS, además de brindar apoyo a acuerdos específicos, estrategia comercial global, actividades de capacitación, creación de contenido didáctico, apoyo a nuevos productos y análisis del rendimiento. Tendrá el reto de ejecutar iniciativas tácticas y estratégicas, como ayudar en el apoyo a los acuerdos de nível 2 al inicio y posteriormente presentar la estrategia de negociación a nuestro equipo global de ventas. La colaboración interfuncional es clave, ya que colaborará con partes interesadas de toda la organización para lograr objetivos críticos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales teams (including sales leadership) and revenue operations on deal pricing strategy during negotiation cycles- Conduct analysis on commercial selling performance; including trend analysis, data model construction and recommendations for impactful change- Partner with product pricing team on bringing new products to market; including influencing all aspects of the quote to cash performance- Build informative content/presentations a part of new product and strategic initiative rollouts; and then deliver such content to wide audiences- Participate in system testing of our quoting platform for both pricing and Order Form accuracy- Assist in coordinating detailed technical and business requirements related to Commercial Order Form improvement with internal and external partners.
