Product Assistant

As a Product Assistant with Intrepid, you'll join our team of destination experts. Your role will be to collaborate with other departments and help create unique products, inclusions, and itineraries.
Working closely with the Destination Product Manager, you'll play a vital role in producing priced group series itineraries. By considering customer and commercial needs, your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction, drive impressive sales growth, and achieve profitable results.
This is a full-time 6-month contract that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in San Jose, Costa Rica. To provide the best experience to our customers, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.

- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of regional trip operations & incident management, preferably of small group adventures
- Experience in the tourism industry, in a product/sales/commercial/operational capacity
- Experience in travel-related systems (Travel Studio, Elements etc.) and Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Understanding how to create commercially viable sustainable, experience-rich travel experiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tourism in some of the following countries: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica.
You’ll have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally. You’ll be customer focused and have a demonstrated commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.
