The Corporate Affairs & Marketing organisation acts as a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that maximises the impact of our investment and relevance in the market.
Role Purpose and Impact:
You will be joining the Account Based Marketing (ABM) a team who are focused on one-to-one and one-to-few, insight and customer first, ABM programmes that deliver highly personalised marketing programmes to drive engagement across LSEG’s most strategic customer base.
As an individual contributor, the purpose of this role is to support ABM programmes via content strategy, content creation and messaging to target LSEG’s most strategic customers.
This role will be accountable for developing content aloigned to ABM programme critical to strategic marketing programmes that drive reputation, relationships, and revenue across LSEG’s strategic customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Account Based Marketing (ABM) team, this role will support the development of personalised content and messaging support ABM programmes.
- Support across the ABM team to develop customer first content plans and messaging aligned to business objectives and strategy, that is personalised to our strategic customers and articulates LSEG’s combined value.
- Support end-to-end ABM content planning, messaging and creation aligned to the ABM
- Build and manage rich, compelling content that engages strategic customers (including sales enablement collateral, blogs, whitepapers, reports, social media messages, infographics, etc.)
- Determine the optimal content mix (channel/content type) by campaign informed by insights and analytics, and an understanding of how our customers engage across each stage of the customer journey
- Engage and collaborate across the ABM team, relevant agencies and marketing partners to ensure content is reflective of our customer needs and aligned to the propositions we offer and the markets we serve
- Support tracking of content performance and effectiveness via agreed KPI’s and metrics Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimised for selected channels
- Stay up to date with the latest ABM best practices and trends
Skills and experience:
- Ability to repurpose and build content using strong copy editing and writing skills
- Customer centric approach and focus - Desire and passion, coupled with a genuine interest, to understand and the customers and strategic institutions we serve
- Experience in supporting the development of content materials (from sales enablement to thought leadership), with a detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process
- Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with different priorities
- Strong ability to learn, listen and collaborate
- Strong portfolio of work and track record of success in financial services
- Extensive experience supporting the development of content materials (from sales enablement to thought leadership), with a detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process
- Ability to repurpose and build content using strong copyediting and writing skills
- Able to brief agencies, designers, additional copywriters and third-party agencies on content
- Excellent project management skills and a proactive approach
- Confidence to bring fresh ideas and an innovative approach to interpret marketing strategies
- Ability to handle multiple projects
Relevant Sector and Business Experience:
- 5 years plus experience Marketing in the financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business-related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of content strategies and content marketing, preferably within global financial services.
- Relevant experience in ABM preferred.
- Knowledge of ABM content marketing strategies
