**Job Description:**
The Ocean Freight Specialist plays a critical role in the administration of transportation and ocean export support services. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of export shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate export shipments to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with carriers to ensure efficient pickup arrangements and planning.
- Verify compliance with US customs requirements and regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and other stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to all incoming communications to resolve daily operational issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, customs, or transportation.
- Fully bilingual: English and Spanish (French is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
