Customer Development Executive

Job Summary
This position represents the Colgate-Palmolive company, managing the relationship with the client based on trust and respect, marketing and developing the 5Ps of the different product categories, in order to increase sales profitably, improve levels of their distribution and market shares, in accordance with our business principles and maintaining a healthy credit portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships between Colgate-Palmolive and customers, ensuring the correct execution of the 5Ps.
- Enforce credit policies defined by Colgate-Palmolive, achieving sales objectives of the assigned territory, and maintaining proactive communication with customers.
- Carry out administrative work, including requests for credit notes, rebates, or support, monitoring and maintenance of the current account.
- Conduct trade visits to identify opportunities, competitors' activities, and ensure correct 5Ps execution, customer inventory management, and Days on Hand (DOH) by customer.
- Analyze information generated through statistics to make informed decisions, such as promotional plans, negotiation, and monitoring of Growth Plans, programming and offers planning for each customer, and Joint Business Plan (JBP) preparation.
- Monitor the performance of each team member through the Performance Management and Development (PM and D) process, providing advice and timely feedback for staff development and achievement of business objectives.
- Oversee the execution of 5P strategy implementation within established commercial guidelines, driving incremental distribution and growth while increasing visibility with scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial areas, trade marketing experience in consumer goods companies, and preferred experience in WM-Price Smart and National Accounts.
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills for handling large amounts of information, and required computer literacy in Office, Google Tools, Retailink, and SAP management.
