The CSS team within Microsoft is responsible for building trust and confidence with customers through delivering seamless support experiences. As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll own, troubleshoot, and solve customer technical issues, accelerating your career growth by honing your problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills.
This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work up to 50% from home. You'll be part of a culture that values respect, integrity, and accountability, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
We're looking for a talented individual with a passion for delivering customer success. If you have 3+ years of technical support experience or equivalent, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, and fluency in English and Spanish, we'd love to hear from you
In this role, you'll:
- Review, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues, collaborating with teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools
- Participate in communities with peer delivery roles and develop specific technical and professional proficiency
- Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft product improvements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Windows System Administration, Configuration, including a good basic understanding of Event Logs and Auditing, Performance Monitor, and Troubleshooting hangs and crashes in Windows
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop Services configuration and management
