At the heart of Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization lies a commitment to delivering exceptional support experiences for its customers. As a Technical Support Engineer in the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, you will be part of a dynamic group that drives the strategy, design, and implementation of end-to-end customer experiences. Your role will involve working collaboratively within and across teams to provide timely technical expertise and global, cross-cloud solutions.

The Applications & Infrastructure group within CSS works closely with commercial customers to address their business-critical challenges and partner with them to advance global, cross-cloud solutions. You will have the opportunity to hone your problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills while developing your technical proficiency. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will own, troubleshoot, and solve complex customer technical issues while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring of others.
  • Engage with Microsoft Engineering/Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and contribute to the development of automation techniques and diagnostic tools that drive Microsoft product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture - Fundamentals of Fabric, Compute, Storage etc.
  • Familiarity with OS Internals concepts, built-in diagnostics, Active Directory, and Security (Windows and/or Linux).
  • Fluency to read, write, and speak English.
