Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Assistant to join our team. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus, specials, and promotions.
- Ensure that all food preparation meets Marriott's quality standards and health codes.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs or repairs.
- 2+ years of experience as a chef or assistant chef in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Marriott's policies and procedures.
