About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Order Management Operations Coordinator to join our team at Emerson. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that customer purchase orders are processed accurately and promptly, as well as handling related activities and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and process customer purchase orders, accurately uploading, entering, and booking related orders in business systems.
  • Verify that all information supplied by the customer is correct and complete to ensure timely order booking and delivery.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers through various communication channels, working closely with inside sales, sales teams, factories, and quote-to-cash teams.
  • Lead proactive communication to resolve purchase order issues or collect missing information at the order entry stage and throughout the order process to ensure correct and timely order booking and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate and resolve issues affecting speed and quality of orders at different stages of the order process, confirming customers are well-informed.
  • Analyze information in systems to make decisions that enable the company to deliver orders in compliance with customer expectations.
  • Maintain updated customer information in business systems and other databases.
  • Collect and save necessary information and documentation to ensure compliance with record retention and documentation procedures, provide information required for quality and continuous improvement analysis.
  • Assure compliance with import/export, contract, and government requirements, screening orders and quotes for compliance with business unit Terms and Conditions, Agreements, and standards.
  • Manage intercompany orders and providers' delivery dates to ensure meeting customer expectations.
  • Complete all certifications and trainings required for successful performance of this role, fulfilling quality requirements (audits, certifications, etc.).
  • Backup other team members depending on business needs.
  • Handle any additional tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal team members effectively.
  • 1-2 years of combined experience in roles such as Customer Service, Planning, Project Management/Coordination, Order Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency is required.
  • Availability to work during 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, or 8am-5pm schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing with customers via phone systems.
  • Prior experience interacting with customers or sales teams, along with data entry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Order Management software such as Oracle and CRM. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for analyzing and reporting data.
  • Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in processing orders, maintaining records, and resolving discrepancies to keep customers satisfied and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple orders simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
