About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives across the organization. Your expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean, will enable you to make a significant impact on our operations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, providing training and guidance on best practices and new tools.

About the Role:
- Acts as a consultant for continuous improvement projects executed by Lean Champions
- Mentoring SS Yellow Belt, 'Just Do Its' or Lean projects
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Conduct Six Sigma and Lean Training sessions
- Coach, train and promote the continuous improvement culture across the site.
- Train Operational Excellence Associates on different continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- Proactively performs quantitative analysis of key process indicators, to identify and promote process improvement opportunities that deliver on cost reductions or improvement of key performance indicators.
- Support process measurement, management, and improvement initiatives by facilitating improvement teams and coaching business owners in the appropriate and operational excellence tools and methods for analysis
- Keep tracking of projects reported through the "Perfect Execution in Action" model; audit and monitor results.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
- Experience of at least 3 years of project management and operational excellence roles.
- Experience in or demonstrated ability to lead people/teams without formal responsibility and interacting and building rapport with teams of all levels.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, Black Belt Certified is desirable
- Experience leading lean projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally & in writing, with all levels of management.
- Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
(Power apps, Power BI and SharePoint will be a plus).
- English Proficiency (B2) Required
- Scrum or Agile certification are a plus
