Job Description

At Td Synnex, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, delivering training sessions on product knowledge and tool usage to enhance sales performance.
  • Support the development of strategies and ideas to drive business growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Take ownership of building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within our CRM system, ensuring timely updates and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly reports to vendors on sell-out activity, tracking the performance of promotional activities and deal pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the business development manager to execute business plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to execute marketing plans, developing campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams, addressing gaps in product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor, resolving complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain web tools such as InTouch, Licensing Online (LOL), and vendor micro-sites, providing seamless user experiences.
  • Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and internal sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Run call-out days on the sales floor and/or Business Unit sales teams, promoting Tech Data's e-business services and driving revenue growth.
  • Engage directly with customers, depending on role requirements, to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency is a must, with certification and/or experience in Cloud computing a significant plus.
