About the Role

This Customer Service Coordinator position is responsible for supporting customer accounts across all tiers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to analyze and respond to customer requests, resolving issues and preparing reports as needed.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations to resolve and escalate service failures, creating corrective action and recommending process improvements. This role also involves advising on customer setups, providing service failure recovery management, and keeping customers informed of new products and service enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and update customer files and profiles, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct customer surveys to identify trends and areas for improvement, using this feedback to inform process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with operations to optimize individual customer orders, ensuring efficient and effective fulfillment.
  • Monitor invoicing and accounts receivable aging, taking proactive steps to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products or equivalent software.
  • Freight Forwarding, Distribution, Customs Brokerage, and/or Transportation experience preferred.
