Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Physician Documentation Coordinator to join our team. This role involves collecting and reviewing physician documents required by third-party payers.

About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Physician Documentation Coordinator, you will interact with customers, sales teams, patients, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely collection of medical documents.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and review physician documents as required by third-party payers
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Prioritize work lists to meet production goals and minimize risk
  • Analyze payer-specific requirements and coverage criteria to determine required documentation
  • Conduct reviews of documentation (order forms, medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history and physicals) as needed for physician identification

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Flexible and adaptable with schedule, workflow processes, and priorities
  • Strong typing skills and ability to multitask
