Job Overview

Huntsman Corporation, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated and specialty chemicals, seeks a skilled CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR to join our team. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, and driving business growth through effective relationship management.

About the Role

The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships and orders for identified customer accounts, providing proficient and knowledgeable customer service with a sense of integrity and trust. Key responsibilities include:

  • Order Management: Manage the day-to-day relationships and orders for identified customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  • Relationship Management: Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, credit, supply chain, technical, commercial, pricing, and other key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Employee Development: Develop product knowledge, service offerings, processes, back-up procedures, and industry conditions to enhance service and sales to customers through personal training, individual inquiry, and development plans.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent in a Technical / Business or related field with 2+ years related experience.
  • An associate degree or higher in a Technical / Business or related field with 6+ months related experience is preferred.
  • Strong Excel, SAP, and overall systems capabilities are preferred.
  • Strong customer-facing experience and roles are preferred.
  • Ability to create networks and get things done when others can't.
  • Ability to make good decisions quickly and learn from past experiences.
  • Proven ability to work with external customers to de-escalate issues that arise and ensure ease of doing business for both Huntsman and the customer.
