Position Overview

ATSG Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Anti-Corruption Associate to join our team in San Jose, Costa Rica. The successful candidate will be part of our partnership with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs' (INL) on the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) - Costa Rica task order. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large and sophisticated multilateral security effort, providing funding for the USG to assist the governments of the CARSI countries with police professionalization, justice sector reform, counter narcotics efforts, border security management, crime and violence prevention, and anti-corruption efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert support to the ATSG team and the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs' (INL) on the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) - Costa Rica task order.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of anti-corruption strategies and initiatives in the justice sector.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations.
  • Provide training and capacity-building support to local partners on anti-corruption best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • U.S. citizen, TCN or LN.
  • MRPT certification or RSO Clearance for foreign nationals.
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, law enforcement, public or another related field; or ten (10) years of related professional experience.
  • FSI level 3/3 Spanish.
  • FSI level 3/3 English.
  • Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
  • Fifteen (10) years' experience in the field of the specialty, which must include:
  • Three (3) years of experience working overseas in an Embassy environment; or,
  • Three (3) years specialized supervisory experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs).
