We are seeking an experienced Business Support Associate to join our team in Santa Ana, Costa Rica. As a key member of our global operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our US and Canada agents in settlement, commission, and reporting inquiries.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading financial services company that is dedicated to making financial services accessible to everyone everywhere. As a Business Support Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Resolving debits, credits, refunds, and reconciliation discrepancies
- Reconciling network activity on a daily basis to ensure accurate accounting
- Guaranteeing monthly commission payments for Money Transfer products
- Investigating outstanding payments and performing retro commission calculations
- Setting up and sending settlement reports required by agents and networks
Your Key Responsibilities
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also assist Account Executives and Regional Directors in implementing new agents/networks, participate in conference calls to resolve inquiries or problem-solve, and contribute to projects to enhance processes. You will also handle data reports to provide specific formats, presentations, and identify settlement discrepancies.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience in Customer Service
- B2+ English Level (85%) with fluent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Microsoft Office skills with a plus for knowledge in AS400, Power BI, Microsoft Access, and Share Point
- Strong communication, analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented skills
- Multitasking abilities with the capacity to work individually and as a team contributor
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience.
