The LAR Payroll team is a very dynamic organization committed to provide the best service to our employees by ensuring their payments are always processed correctly and in time. To propose, assess, test and implement new automated solutions (like excel macros or RPAs) is something we are always doing. **You will help Intel with the following, but not limited to**:

- Performs computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, and process exception items or those requiring special handling.
- Responds to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation.
- Prepares, maintains, and compiles various payroll records.
- Assignments are typically routine and repetitious in nature.
- Work performed within narrowly defined parameters.
- Limited judgment required in resolving standard problems.
- Close supervision involving detailed instructions where work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
- Creation of reports for statutory requirements and third party payments. Accounting reconciliations for Payroll Balance Sheet accounts including investigation and resolution of reconciliation items.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be an active advanced student of, or must possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Systems or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in administrative roles.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, V-Lookup)
- Advanced English level.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Workday knowledge and automation experience
- Payroll experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) and LEAN.
