Position Purpose: Provides advanced operational support for all enterprise computing platforms. Monitors and operates L.L.Bean computer systems to prevent problems and ensure a stable environment, enterprise-wide. Works with technical staff resolving problems for L.L.Bean end users. Coordinates the research and resolution of Enterprise Operations' technical concerns and issues. Coaches, trains, and provides technical mentoring to Operation Analysts.

**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and troubleshoot across all enterprise computing platforms.- Including server network security storage and telephony platforms.- Analyze event messages to determine root cause.- Take appropriate action to quickly resolve problems and restore operations.- Escalate more complex issues to vendors or internal on-call staff.- Use of incident reporting tools to track issues.- Review plans for implementations and changes.- Manage change windows and planned outages.- Administer server patching.- Administer escalated privileges.- Perform basic help desk functions during off shift.- Create and maintain technical documentation.- Coaches, trains, and provides technical mentoring to Operation Analysts.- May be point-of-contact for shift and coordinate shift schedule.- May have 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
English Level: Upper intermediate (B2+)
Education Level: Computer science or related field techincal level or relevant experience
Years of Experience: 4+ years
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience troubleshooting with IT Infrastructure devices, Desktops, Servers, and network.- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware, commands, and tools.- Active Directory and Windows Server OS solid knowledge.- Experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Load Balancers.- Experience with corporate monitoring tools and editing/adjusting alerts.- Exposure to Virtual Servers.- General help desk knowledge.- Strong interpersonal skills.- Ability to multitask.- Works effectively in a team environment.- Proactive- Applies appropriate sense of urgency at work
- Nice to Have:_- Experience as a NOC Technician.- Storage or Linux administration knowledge.- Scripting knowledge and IT infrastructure certifications.- Experience with Control-M Scheduling package and its components.- Experience with file transfer tools such as Advanced File Transfer (AFT).- Mainframe experience.
