Your Responsibilities_**:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring adherence to established controls and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including filing of tax returns and remittance of payroll taxes.
  • Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance measures to minimize errors and discrepancies in payroll calculations, deductions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and accounting departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and taxes, providing an excellent customer service and resolve payrollrelated issues promptly and accurately.
  • Generate reports and analyze payroll data to provide insights into payroll costs, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits and inspections. Prepare documentation and respond to inquiries from auditors or regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support leadership with other projects and tasks as required.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the payroll team and across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
  • 45 years of payroll tax and payroll process experience in multinational companies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Mexico CFDI and taxes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in payroll systems and ERP
  • Intermediate to Advanced English skills
  • Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate to advanced skill level for data analysis, forecasting, and reconciliation.

Preferred Experience:

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • Expertise in "Nómina Electrónica" for Colombia
  • Expertise in SAP for Payroll
