Business Team Leader

**What this job involves**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals and work closely with the Graphic Design Director to ensure seamless workflows and timely delivery of projects.

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding, mentoring, and motivating team members to reach their full potential. You will lead by example, setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

**Additionally, you will**:
Communicating with design requestors to ensure all needed project information is accounted for.
Supporting the Graphic Design Director with reporting & data tracking.
Administering project components (setting up design folders, ensuring all final files are saved to the correct locations).
Scheduling and coordinating creative presentations and distribution of versions/rounds of work.
Monitoring and communicating with Graphic Design Director on project statuses & deadlines to ensure projects are on-time and resourced properly.
Attending status meetings or other project meetings as needed, on behalf of designers, to ensure design elements or conversations are tracked and passed to the designer.
Manage projects and ensure producers manage projects to agreed scopes and timescales, including integrated projects where digital, print, events, media and social media components all require coordination and cohesion.
Oversee project design and production, reporting any potential disputes, changing requirements or delays in a timely manner, and reviewing project performance.
You have a team-oriented attitude and the ability to contribute to design
- and functionality-related marketing decisions.
**Strong work ethic**: Takes initiative and can self-manage. Resourceful when approaching projects, can navigate through obstacles to bring projects to fruition, and can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
2+ years of experience leading teams.
Experience in traffic management, content delivery, or project management.
Advance or Fluent English and communication level (including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing).
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, & multi-tasking skills.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Great command under pressure and stress.
A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or art school certification with a significant equivalent experience is desirable.
You have strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of business-to-business print and digital marketing collateral.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign (knowledge of interactivity would be an add on), Photoshop, and Illustrator along with a good knowledge of PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Experience with SharePoint is preferable.
