As part of this position the professional will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of Monthly VAT/IVA returns in various tax jurisdictions globally.
Verify the sales and purchase invoices are compliant for VAT purposes and assist in the implementation of VAT reporting technology (automation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT/IVA filing in various tax jurisdictions globally.- Initiate and coordinate VAT/IVA payments.- Prepare corrective VAT/IVA returns.- Reconciliation of tax liability GL accounts for VAT/IVA.- Assist with external, Internal and Fiscal tax audit queries.- Assist with day-to-day VAT /IVA queries related to fuel.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in accounting or finance.- Advanced English Skills- 2+ years of Excise and VAT tax experience- Advanced knowledge in excel, lookups, pivots, formulas, macros.- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and organization skills.- Possess excellent communication skills.- Other European language is a plus
