**Please note that this position is a fix term contract for 9 months**
The job holder performs complex activities around sales and use tax for the US. All to be performed in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations and requirements.
Focus will be on tax projection, actual calculation as well as the tax return preparation and completion for sales & use tax. Additionally, investigations on discrepancies or other issues of more technical nature are expected to be solved by the job holder in cooperation with other departments.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
- Calculation and reconciliation of sales & use tax- Investigation on discrepancies in sales & use tax calculation (technical focus)-
- Preparation, completion and filing of sales & use tax returns- Incorporation of required tax changes in existing process- Acting as interface towards IT in case of technical problems- Supporting tax audits
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant North America sales and use tax experience.
