About the Role: We're hiring a Remote Accountant based in Costa Rica to join a service-driven accounting team that supports a diverse range of U.S.-based clients, including small businesses, startups, and growth-focused organizations. In this role, you'll help deliver accurate, timely, and reliable financial services as part of a collaborative team. This is a remote position with a fixed schedule aligned to Arizona time, ideal for someone who values structure, precision, and client-focused work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain clean, organized financial records
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with basic tax preparation and reporting
- Track and categorize expenses, invoices, and payments
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth client service delivery
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- CPA certification is not required
