Job Summary

Craft and implement operational excellence strategies for post-factory operations in Latin America, aligning with global operations standards and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business group operations leaders to optimize the quote-to-cash cycle.
  • Support business unit ownership of inventory tracking and lead the importation and warehousing of customer shipment inventory.
  • Craft systems for customer shipment inventory management, including storage and obsolescence.
  • Owning billing and picking processes, including implementing processes, resources, and systems.
  • Supervise factory operations logistics performance and influence improvements.
  • Lead logistics teams to ensure successful implementation of enterprise logistics systems, including measurement of freight forwarders.
  • Drive a monthly cadence with BU leadership around inventory concerns impacting the quote-to-cash process.
  • Prepare and communicate a metric dashboard at monthly Americas Leadership Staff calls, including measures such as cost of logistics, customs issues, lost shipments, and last mile distribution.
  • Provide vision on new technologies to improve post-factory operations and performance in Latin America, including RFID technologies, billing system improvements, and customer information improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years related experience.
  • Minimum of three years in Emerson Operations Management, located in a major Emerson site within Latin America.

  • Confirmed experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Deep professional knowledge of principles of perfect execution.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
