Process Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Citi. In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects across their lifecycle, identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, and communicating project results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects across their lifecycle, including identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, and communicating project results.
- Build strong relationships with program sponsors, including Regional and Global Leadership Team.
- Orchestrate and drive the successful and timely completion of programs to achieve business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues that impact program delivery.
- Carry out risk management, mitigation planning, and train others within the team through workshops and learning series.
- Ensure governance and methodology consistency of deliverables and artifacts across all programs and projects in the portfolio.
- Manage Americas capacity and program planning cooperatively across the BTSS Business Office, Strategy and Reengineering Team, and manage project resources against budgets.
- Support process improvement activities according to BTSS Organization needs.
- Define, design, implement, maintain, execute, and document process improvement activities and projects.
- Efficiently solve complex and ambiguous problems and situations.
- Prepare productivity budgets and agree on priorities with stakeholders.
- Conduct and lead process deep dive reviews to ensure efficiency and acceleration for Quality Assurance multiyear plans.
- Monitor and secure the timely execution of all projects by keeping close track of timelines, business critical milestones delivery, and proper planning and prioritization when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience related to process and/or project management.
- Advanced English level.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or another formal training in reengineering or process improvement.
- Ability to work with global partners across the organization.
- Proven ability to complete complex projects according to agreed-upon scope and timeline.
- Working knowledge of large implementation and proven records on transformational processes.
- Excellent understanding and appreciation of internal control environment, reporting, and metrics.
- Solid analytical skills, combined with the ability to deliver analyses in a concise and logical manner.
- Experience in working in operations units requiring coordination across multiple regions and business segments.
- Citi Lean and Lean Process Improvement experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, to develop reports and presentations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or other fields.
- Master's degree a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills (oral and written) to clearly articulate findings, defend a point of view among various groups, and present to senior management.
- Assertive and strong follow-up skills.
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly, and ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships.
- Proactive and goal-oriented strategic thinker, with the ability to identify creative solutions.
