Cloud Sales Manager for Central America Public Sector

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Sales Manager to join our team in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue and market share in the Public Sector industry.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding into the Central America Public Sector markets, and we offer a dynamic work environment where you'll be at the forefront of innovation.
Your Role
You will be responsible for driving revenue and market share in a defined territory and industry vertical. This includes developing and executing against a comprehensive account/territory plan, creating compelling value propositions around AWS services, and accelerating customer adoption.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in cloud sales or business development
- Direct field experience working with Public Sector specific to Central America
- Understanding of the Central America government markets
- Travel time expected 50%
- Extensive Central America government sector customer network
- Positive track record prior managing a portfolio of accounts with direct revenue objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English & Spanish
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
- Able to influence others internally and external
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
