Your role at Baxter

You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for processing travel and expense reports while identifying potential areas of non-compliance. Your attention to detail will ensure seamless interactions between employees, managers, and governance teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process travel and expense reports efficiently, adhering to strict service level agreements (SLA) while reviewing for possible fraudulent expenses or non-compliant expenses.
  • Prepare and review retrospective reporting of travel and expense costs, pinpointing areas for further review, including general poor employee behavior through retrospective reporting.
  • Effectively manage interactions between employees, managers, and a broader governance team on the results of the travel and expense audits.
  • Proactively communicate with the business on areas of concern noted in expense report management.
  • Develop a deep understanding of travel and expense tools and policies, supporting the Governance Team and providing feedback to enhance the functionality of the travel and expenses system.
  • Build strong relationships with the business to maximize interdependent relationships across various functions impacted by travel and expenses.
  • Collaborate with other travel and expense teams to address escalations and outstanding issues effectively.
  • Provide feedback to RPO on suggested changes to current processes and policies to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with all programs.
  • Participate in implementing ongoing process improvement projects related to travel and expense, such as Appzen, Integrated Concur Travel & Expense, and SmartSpend Alignment.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2-3 years' relevant travel and expenses experience.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Highly motivated individual looking to continuously deliver and exceed.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of prioritization.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; a good understanding of the travel industry; 2nd European language (not essential).
