The Role

We're seeking a highly organized and efficient Financial Data Associate to join our Global Middle Office (GMO) team. As a key player in business process development, new company-wide initiatives, and technology projects, you'll be responsible for supporting documents download processes, resolving issues, and participating in future operational improvements discussions.

Responsibilities
  • Support new deal set-up, data capture, lifecycle data maintenance, data quality assurance, and tracking support to rating analysts within the designated Line of Business (LOB)
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data updates, prepares rating actions, bulk rating actions, publishing ratings, research, and press release templates, and disclosures consistent with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Monitor designated mailboxes to ensure timely and effective handling of internal and external client requests
  • Facilitate resolution to technical issues and/or more sophisticated external inquiries with supervision by Senior Financial Data Associate/Specialist/Team Leader
  • Build positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Deliver high-level service across high volumes of transactions
Requirements
  • Undergraduate/first-level degree in a Financial discipline required
  • Entry-level position; some meaningful work experience and/or relevant internship experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive processes with no error
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate business concepts to a senior audience
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
