About the Role

Tebra is seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to provide exceptional support to our accounting department and billing processes. This role involves various activities that require attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound calls regarding billing inquiries and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform outbound calls to collect payment on overdue balances and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Work closely with salesforce teams to manage cases related to billing and collection inquiries.
  • Download and explain invoices to customers, ensuring they understand their financial obligations.
  • Assist customers with updating their method of payment on file and confirm their payment information.
  • Process payment re-attempts and follow up with customers as needed.

Your Professional Qualifications

  • Intermediate level of experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • 1+ years of experience answering inbound phone calls, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • A professional and friendly demeanor, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • The capacity to make quick and accurate math calculations, with confidence in handling complex financial transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments efficiently.
  • Experience working in a software company, healthcare setting, or accounts receivable environment.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
