The Intel Payroll team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to employees by ensuring timely and accurate compensation processing. With a commitment to continuous improvement, the team continually seeks innovative solutions to optimize payroll operations.

Key responsibilities:

Prepares and submits compensation information to vendors for accurate calculations.
- Conducts computations and other tasks necessary for preparing payroll data for computer input, adjusting output, and processing exception items or those requiring special handling. Maintains employee master data and other payroll information to produce and distribute payroll system reports.
- Ensures precise payment of wages and benefits.
- Oversees payroll support, resolves issues, responds to employee inquiries, and documents new payroll processes or updates documentation as required.
- Regularly schedules audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Provides Finance with timely and accurate general ledger interfaces, journal entries, and various month-end reports necessary to correctly allocate earnings to relevant departments. Monitors, escalates, and addresses any discrepancies consistent with defect-free performance.
- Reports to management any identified process improvement recommendations, efficiencies, procedure gaps, or areas of concern specific to payroll and time collection procedures. Champions lean methodologies, business process management, development, and deployment of cost-competitive solutions to maintain or improve performance and user experience.
- Ensures compliance with both internal payroll policies and external government requirements. Collaborates with other disciplines (e.g., Finance, Legal, Tax, etc.) on payroll-specific change management communications.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

Qualifications:
- Must be an active advanced student at a university level or possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Systems, or similar.
- Intermediate experience in Business Process Management and basic knowledge of LEAN Methodology.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Workday and automation experience.
- Payroll experience.
