We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSSE Specialist to join our team as an HSSE Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSSE programs, policies, and procedures that meet industry standards and legal requirements.

About the Role

As an HSSE Program Manager, you will conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them. You will also provide guidance and support to site personnel on HSSE matters and coordinate training programs to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSSE programs, policies, and procedures that meet industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them.
  • Provide guidance and support to site personnel on HSSE matters.
  • Coordinate and conduct HSSE training programs to ensure site personnel have the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely.
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze HSSE performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Professional certifications in HSSE, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as an HSSE Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSSE regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HSSE programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office tools and HSSE management systems.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
