**Job Description**:

We are currently recruiting for the position of Product/Process Transfer Engineer, as part of our team at Theragenics Costa Rica Ltd.

**Responsibilities**

This position is suitable for engineers that are currently working within Ops or other Engineering groups in the medical devices industry, and are interested in learning and progressing into project management area.

The duties and responsibilities for this position will include the following:

  • Managing production and non-production related projects procurement activities, and maintaining the purchasing list;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on gathering and processing information;
  • Completing purchase orders, quotes, and ensuring delivery on time;
  • Negotiating and following up with vendors to resolve issues;
  • Maintaining a tracker for all purchases;
  • Providing a monthly CapEx spending summary and next month/quarter projections for the month-end financial review;
  • Facilitating the project manager to update project documents, and transferring and updating information between WBS, Gantt, and Project registers as per the project manager's request;
  • Supporting the project manager to follow up with the local team to ensure high-priority or urgent tasks are executed on time;
  • Gathering information based on project needs, and completing an initial review prior to delivering information to upper-level management;
  • Organizing meetings, taking meeting notes, and synthesizing information, including preparation of minutes and transfer to the project tracker;
  • Documentation circulation for review and sign-off via Docusign;
  • Making arrangements for program lead travel and assisting with expense reimbursements;
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time by the manager.

**Requirements**:

Qualification: BS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering, with 3-5 years of work experience in the Medical device or other highly regulated industries;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;

Proven ability to problem-solve and work under pressure to meet deadlines;

Enjoy teamwork and engagement cross-functionally, while also being able to work on their own initiative;

Proficient in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams; knowledge of MS Project is an advantage;

Experience in Ops lean projects, process validation, or production transfer is a must; experience of managing small projects or work streams within a project is a plus but not necessary;

Familiar with project management concepts, PMP/Lean certified or on the route to obtaining certification is an advantage;

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, work streams simultaneously, and keep records organized;

Excellent attention to detail;

Fast adaptation to changing priorities and project deadlines;

English B2-C1 level.
