Abbott Laboratories is a leading healthcare company seeking a talented Business Development Intern to join our Commercial team. Based in City Place, Santa Ana, San Jose, Costa Rica, this internship will provide you with hands-on experience in various areas of commercial operations.

We are looking for students who are passionate about business and willing to learn. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to develop your skills in:

Commercial Area

  • Assisting in market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Helping to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue growth.

Institutional Channel

  • Supporting the development of partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Providing administrative support to our Institutional Sales team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will have the chance to develop your skills in:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, or Pharmacy (4th year +).
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • MS Office knowledge - Excel and PowerPoint.

Estimated Salary: $12,000 - $15,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications. This compensation package includes a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
