**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Emerson.

**Responsibilities**

  1. Act as a single point of contact for customer inquiries, demonstrating a deep understanding of the customer base, market channels, and products.
  2. Effectively utilize techniques, skills, equipment, procedures, and materials to answer inquiries accurately and completely.
  3. Respond to and document proper information into service now for all customer inquiries or complaints.
  4. Communicate effectively in a clear and understandable manner, providing excellent service support for external and internal customers.
  5. Identify and evaluate solution options before making decisions in a timely manner, recognizing when escalation may be necessary.
  6. Research and resolve customers' complaints timely and effectively.
  7. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, taking ownership of various inquiries and managing proactive communication effectively.
  8. Maintain high-level professional communication skills, delivering an exemplary level of Customer Service.
  9. Manage routing of inquiries to appropriate internal support teams.
  10. Collaborate with internal sales teams and provide timely responses to customers.

**Requirements**

  1. BA/BS in Information Systems or related area, plus 2 years of related experience.
  2. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills for internal technical consulting with other Emerson Groups and Divisions.
  3. Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. A high degree of self-motivation and a passion for excellence in customer service.
  5. A self-managed sense of urgency.
  6. Position requires off-hours and on-call support.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic, able to balance compassion with know-how and tackle challenging situations.
  8. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and suggest viable solutions.
  9. Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
